Learning to swim begins with mastering six essential skills: safely entering and exiting the pool, proper breathing techniques, floating and treading water for safety, coordinating limbs to move smoothly, building strength and control through kicking, and progressing to basic strokes like the front crawl. These foundational skills not only build confidence and ensure safety in the water, but also prepare swimmers to advance to the next level of stroke development. All of this takes place in a small group environment that encourages teamwork, support, and shared progress.
Dive into fun with your little one! Our Moms & Tots Swim classes are playful, safe, and packed with songs, games, and splashes that build water confidence, coordination, and early skills — all while creating special bonding moments. Each session is 30 minutes of giggles, growth, and water magic!
For little water adventurers, 6 months – 3 years
Learning to swim for the first time can feel intimidating for both children and adults. For those needing more guidance, we recommend our one-on-one sessions for a personalised approach that fosters confidence, ensures safety, and allows swimmers to progress at their own pace with full attention and a curriculum tailored to them. The boost in confidence and skill makes this one of our best-loved premium options.
In Johannesburg, life is often fast-paced and high-pressure, especially for caregivers and parents. This is why it is vital for anyone who has a child in their care to understand and be proficient in poolside rescue skills. Confidence and knowledge in practical techniques can often be the difference in the outcome of an emergency. Let’s ensure that we equip all our children’s caregivers with the knowledge needed to keep safe around water..
